A woman has apparently been attacked and had her throat slit at a hotel in Manchester. She reportedly made it out onto the street and managed to flag down a passing police car outside the Hilton hotel on Deansgate, and has been rushed to hospital for treatment for lacerations to her neck. The attack is said to have been launched around 11am this morning inside the hotel itself, and involved four men and two women who have all been arrested following police attending the scene. Police said the incident is not currently being treated as a terrorist act and the attack was not carried out at random.
