Robert Skipper, aged 28, was charged with sexual assault and abuse after three women came forward in a single day saying they had been assaulted by a man who all women described in very similar terms. It was at 2pm on Saturday one of the women was assaulted by Robert when he followed her into a lift, pushed her against the wall and began to force his hand up her skirt. He told her,
“Give me some of that *****,” before then forcing her to the floor and assaulting her. When he was finished he fled the scene and the woman phoned 911. When two other women gave a similar description, and police found Robert Skipper in the area, police arrested him and brought him in. At the time, they asked one of the women to come in and help identify if Robert Parker was the man who had assaulted her.
Except Robert decided to actually do that for them. As the woman entered Robert’s eyes lit up and he “excitedly” leaned forward, pointed at her, and shouted,
“That’s her! That’s her! That’s the one I got! I stalk my prey.”

Skipper’s outburst was thankfully caught on a policeman’s body camera where it will, no doubt, be used as part of the upcoming trial. We can’t help but imagine that the case in question will be open and shut.
Robert Parker has a previous criminal conviction for an armed robbery he committed in 2013 which he served prison time for. He is now currently being held without bail on charges of felony attempted criminal sexual assault by force, felony criminal sexual abuse by force, and felony unlawful restraint.
As far as stupidity goes, this has to be right at the top. It’s very rare that a criminal is dumb enough to identify themselves as part of a line up. It’s usually the police’s job to identify criminals but Robert Skipper seemed unhinged enough to do it of his own accord. Which, really, is a good thing because the nature of the crime he committed means he should be off the streets for a long time, and if he chooses to make that process easier and cheaper for everyone involved, well that’s on him. Not to mention the fact he assaulted three women in a single day means it was quite likely he wouldn’t have stopped any time soon.
