Love Island reject Zara McDermott has been doing the classic post-villa rounds, shilling Pretty Little Thing clothes and MissGuided accessories like a champ. She's also been up to some controversial fun with Adam though, being caught on camera by him rapping along to a Chris Brown song and.. uh.. showing that she knows all the lyrics. He took a Snapchat video of her this week singing along to a Chris Brown song - Look At Me Now - while driving and she can be seen saying the N-word a number of times in the short clip. Fans quickly jumped on it and sent her messages accusing her of racism, and forcing her to defend herself against the onslaught after deleting the offending video.
She was immediately on the defensive, writing "It's a song OMG!" but backtracking soon after, posting: "I am sorry that I offended anyone. My point is that it wasn’t aimed at anyone, it was lyrics to a song that had been in the public domain for many years, a song that many people know. But I am genuinely sorry to have offended anyone, it just upsets me that people would ever think I was been intentionally nasty or ignorant because I wasn’t." A source close to Zara then told The Sun: "Zara had no intention of offending anyone. She made Adam delete it as soon as she realised what she had done."
Zara and Adam have been inseparable since leaving the villa, despite their exit being somewhat unique. Zara was chosen to leave Love Island by her fellow islanders and Adam was saved, choosing to stay behind and give it another shot with someone else. He quickly fell for new girl Darylle, before suddenly changing his mind again after realising he still had feelings for the 21 year old government adviser. Zara has said since leaving the villa that she will 'love him forever' and he's showered her with gifts from a massive cookie, a number of striped shirts and body products to a sweet photograph of the lovers smooching. He even apparently calls her 'Lil Z'. Bleurgh.
