Earlier this week Alexandra entered the Love Island villa and made quite the impression on the cast and audience in doing so. However, much to the displeasure of the show’s many producers, fans are showing less and less interest in Alexandra’s on-screen antics as more and more attention is being lumped onto the show’s many off-screen tricks.
In this case, fans are really, really, p*ssed off that Alexandra and Megan knew each other from before the show, but make no mention of it whatsoever. As more and more people begin to suspect that Love Island is one giant edited sham of a show—with almost none of the on-screen drama being genuine—this final reveal just might be the last straw.
It all begins with a music video by grimes artist Giggs where Alexandra and Megan are featured in a raunchy girl-on-girl kiss. So not only have these two ladies met each other, but they’ve put their tongues in each other’s mouths! The fact they make no mention of their history on the show is evidence, as far as many are concerned, that the whole show is fabricated.
“@LoveIsland how come Megan didn’t let on that she already knew Alexandra ? Makes me think it’s all a fix ?? #LoveIsIand #fakeisland #scripted?” wrote one user.
“So Megan & Alexandra know each other but I haven't even seen them talk to each other yet #LoveIsland'; 'Is Megan really pretending she don’t know Alexandra? #LoveIsland” Added another.
“Why is Alexandra pretending she doesn’t already know Megan #loveisland'; 'Alexandra and Megan are mates apparently? #LoveIsland'; 'so megan is friends with/knows alexandra...interesting #LoveIsland” Tweeted one confused viewer.
“Apparently, Alexandra is Megan's friend.... @LoveIsland? #loveisland'; 'New girl Alexandra cane going in #loveisland tomorrow is good friends with Megan! Fishy... #loveisland @LoveIsland”
Despite this Love Island producers have made no comment on the fans’ rising frustrations as it becomes increasingly clear that various edits and other off-camera tricks are being employed to make the show more interesting than it actually is.
