Love Island has just released its 'First Look' and things aren't looking great for the islanders after the shock arrival of four new bombshells to the villa. Though the boys and girls were initially added to spice things up for newly separated Sam and Georgia, it seems like they might have inadvertently split up a few more couples along the way. Jack and Laura are on the rocks, Sam and Georgia are all but finished and Alex squared are facing the kind of issues a couple of uh.. three days really shouldn't be facing. After going on dates with the new islanders, Georgia seemed in bright spirits and admitted to Dani that she was attracted to both of them for different reasons despite Dani pointing out that she still fancied Sam literally an hour before. Dani wasn't pulling any punches with her best friend, and let her know exactly how 'stupid' she was being by choosing to stay in the villa prompting a huge row between the pair.
Unpopular opinion but Dani and Jack were out of order speaking to Georgia and Sam like that. It's fine that they disagree and that they are telling them but saying they are pieces of shit etc is bang out of order #LoveIsland— Emily (@Emily_June23) July 16, 2018
Jack and Laura, not content to just have a few days of consistency and seemingly overjoyed at the idea of proving the other islanders right about them yet again, are in a bad place after Jack confides in Wes that though he's happy with Laura, he might be happier with someone else. Unsurprisingly, Wes is supportive and tells Jack that it would be a great idea to ditch Laura in exactly the same way he did a few weeks ago - she'll be fine with that, right? It's not like her self confidence has taken an insane body blow already. It appears that Jack has had his head turned by the dark haired new girl, and the two can be seen in the clip lounging on a day bed as they admit that they'd like to get to know each other better. Dani tries to urge Laura to consider new boy Paul, as the two are close in age and he's... really really hot, but Laura's attentions are still with Jack and she's not relishing the thought of getting hurt again.
How can Wes actually be convincing jack to move on from Laura! Hasn’t he caused enough damage #loveisland— Theo B. (@TheoBass) July 16, 2018
Finally, the island's newest fan fave coupling of Alex and Alexandra are in a weird place when apparently both of them think the other one has stopped fancying them. In the freshly released clip, Alex confides in the boys that he thinks he might be more invested than she is, so he's started pulling back and being less available at about the same time that Alexandra asks the girls for advice on the terrace because, you guessed it, Alex is being weird. She's worried his feelings for her have changed, and any attraction has fizzled out to be replaced by the ol' friend feelings that all of us live in fear of. What's worse than being someone's friend? Eurgh.
