Yeezy fans are rejoicing as Kanye West has confirmed that he's going to release TWO new albums in the first week of June, after a two year hiatus. His last album, The Life of Pablo, was released in 2016 to critical acclaim but coincided with a period in his life that was marred by struggles with his mental health, including a stay at the UCLA Medical Centre for 'temporary psychosis' with episodes of paranoia and depression. He cancelled 21 concerts, where fans were hoping to hear his new material performed live, and we've been waiting ever since for him to create new music.
Well, it's finally here. Kanye has been writing and recording in the Wyoming mountains for months in preparation for the June release, and yesterday announced that his solo album will come out around the same time as a surprise collaboration with rapper Kid Cudi under the name 'Kids See Ghost'. Kanye is no stranger to highly successful collaborative work, with his 'Watch The Throne' album, created with Jay Z, dominating the charts for months back in 2011.

The tweets were nestled among his cerebral musings, as he continues to write his philosophy book in real time. The 40 year old rapper and producer has been posting motivational tweets that urge his followers to focus on the positives in their life, and to strive for greatness in his typical wacky fashion.
The album is set to be seven songs long and it's going to drop on June 1st, with the Cudi record landing just a week later on June 8th. The pair are longtime friends, and they've appeared as surprise guests at each other's live gigs since Kanye 'discovered' Kid Cudi and signed him to his GOOD Records label, but things haven't always been plain sailing between them. West ranted about Cudi at one of his Saint Pablo gigs in Sacramento, and then just a month later told him publicly to 'never talk about me again' with Cudi hitting back on his Twitter, saying: "'I've been loyal to those who haven't been to me and that ends now. Now I'm your threat' and calling the 40 year old rapper 'fake.'

The pair appear to have put their troubles behind them after Kanye appeared on stage for the first time in a year at Cudi's concert in Chicago in November to perform his hit Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1 as the crowd went wild. They also performed together just two months ago at an Adidas 747 Warehouse event in Los Angeles back in February as part of NBA All-Star Weekend.
West also announced on Twitter the news that rapper Pusha T would be releasing an album on May 25 while Teyana Taylor will be releasing her second album on June 22th. Both artists are signed to his record label G.O.O.D. Music. Fans were even treated to a first look at samples of his new footwear line on his Yeezy x Adidas collaboration including pastel toned Yeezy 500 Desert Rats, but didn't give a release date for the shoes so fans will have to keep their eyes peeled.
